Role We're looking for an Executive Recruiter to operate at the sharp end of recruitment – combining traditional 360 recruitment with a modern talent acquisition mindset. This is a senior, hands‑on role. You'll manage high‑value assignments, build long‑term client partnerships, and run intelligent search processes rather than rely on “post and pray”. If you've led or mentored others, great – but this is not a pure people‑management role.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery of end‑to‑end recruitment across executive, senior and specialist roles
Lead retained, exclusive and contingency assignments
Conduct structured, research‑led candidate search and market mapping
Interview, assess and shortlist candidates to a high professional standard
Manage offer processes, negotiations and post‑placement care
Partner with clients as a trusted hiring advisor, not just a supplier
Advise on roles, talent availability, remuneration and hiring strategy
Build and maintain long‑term talent pipelines for critical skill areas
Use data, insight and market intelligence to inform recruitment decisions
Develop and maintain strong, trusted client relationships
Proactively identify opportunities within existing accounts
Represent the business professionally in a small, reputation‑driven market
Mentor or support junior consultants where appropriate (Desirable, Not Essential)
Contribute to best practice, process improvement and knowledge sharing
Potential to take on formal leadership responsibilities over time
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in professional, executive or specialist recruitment
Strong sourcing and headhunting capability (LinkedIn, networks, direct search)
Ability to manage senior stakeholders and complex hiring processes
Commercial awareness and strong negotiation skills
High standards of professionalism, discretion and delivery
Desirable: prior team‑lead experience
