Commercial Construction Superintendent (Indianapolis, IN)
A well-established commercial General Contractor in the Indianapolis market is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead ground-up commercial projects ranging from
$20M- $50M+ .
This role will oversee the full field operation of projects, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining schedule, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring high-quality project delivery.
The company has a strong reputation in the Midwest construction market and continues to experience steady growth across multiple sectors.
PROJECTS MAY INCLUDE :
Key Responsibilities
Lead field operations on ground-up commercial construction projects
Manage project schedules and coordinate subcontractors and trade partners
Enforce safety standards and conduct weekly safety meetings
Communicate project milestones with ownership, architects, and project teams
Review drawings, specifications, change orders, and project documentation
Identify and resolve jobsite risks to maintain safety, schedule, and quality
Maintain accurate site records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a Superintendent or Lead Foreman on commercial projects
Experience managing ground-up construction projects ($20M-$50M+)
Strong ability to coordinate subcontractors and manage field operations
Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications
Familiarity with construction technology such as Procore, Bluebeam, Excel, or similar tools
Strong leadership and communication skills
