We’re hiring a dynamic and proactive

Community Engagement Coordinator

to be the bridge between our brands and our audiences. This role is focused almost entirely on actively managing day-to-day social media engagement across our brand channels: Neill, Aveda Arts & Sciences Institutes, Serious Business, VoMor, Elevate and Paris Parker Salon & Spas. Daily responsibilities include liking, commenting, direct messaging, sharing, and proactively engaging with relevant accounts to grow brand visibility, trust and community. The position supports, but does not own, content creation or social strategy.

What You’ll Do: Community Engagement & Reputation Management

Monitor and respond to all incoming DMs, comments, mentions, and story interactions across all social platforms in a timely, brand-consistent voice.

Manage and respond to Google and Yelp reviews.

Ensure brand tone is consistent and empathetic across all forms of audience interaction.

Lead community moderation, identifying and escalating issues when necessary.

Provide regular observational feedback to the Social Media Manager on recurring audience questions, engagement patterns, and community sentiment.

Collaborate with the marketing team by following established strategy and messaging guidelines when engaging with audiences, ensuring consistent responses during launches, events, and promotions.

Identify and research potential influencers, brand partners, and content collaborators across each business unit.

Proactively reach out via social media direct messages to creators, small businesses, and community members to coordinate post collaborations, user-generated content, and testimonials.

Build and maintain a living database of outreach contacts, including social handles, niches, and prior collaborations.

What We’re Looking For:

3+ years of experience in community management, social engagement, or customer-facing digital roles.

Experience managing or engaging on social media accounts on behalf of a brand, business, or organization (personal accounts or influencer-only experience do not qualify).

Strong written communication and relationship-building skills, especially short‑form responses.

Strong organizational habits with the ability to manage multiple brand voices.

Comfort performing high‑volume, detail‑oriented engagement work.

Familiarity with tools like Meta Business Suite, TikTok, Yelp, Reddit, Google Workspace, Hootsuite, Notion, and Microsoft Workspace.

A passion for people and an instinct for what content resonates.

Occasional support for events or activations may be requested, but this is not a core function of the role.

Quarterly in‑person team meetings in Hammond, LA.

This is a remote and flexible role; however, most of the work is expected to take place within standard business hours (approximately 9:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. local time). Occasional evening or off‑hours social media coverage may be required for events or launches. When this occurs, schedules will be communicated in advance, and team members are expected to adjust their work hours accordingly.

Compensation: $17.90 - $20 per hour and Eligible for all benefits.
