Business Development Center (BDC) Sales Representative

As a

BDC Sales Representative , you will play a key role in connecting with potential customers, managing inbound and outbound leads, and guiding buyers through the early stages of the vehicle purchasing process. You’ll work closely with our sales team to ensure every inquiry receives prompt, professional follow-up while helping convert interest into scheduled appointments and showroom visits.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who enjoys engaging with customers, thrives in a structured and fast-moving environment, and takes pride in turning conversations into opportunities while creating a positive first impression of the dealership.

BDC Sales Representative Responsibilities:

Respond promptly to incoming leads via phone, email, or online inquiries

Manage and prioritize leads to ensure timely follow-up

Engage with potential customers to understand their needs and preferences

Provide information about products, services, and promotions

Highlight product features, benefits, and value propositions

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands.

Collaborate with other BDC team members, sales representatives, and departments

Input accurate and up-to-date information into the CRM system

BDC Sales Representative Requirements:

Knowledge in sales or business is a plus

Experience in sales or customer service, preferably in an automotive or BDC environment

Strong sales instincts and the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities

Previous experience in phone or virtual sales is an asset

Proficient in using CRM systems and other sales-related software

Ability to work collaboratively with other BDC team members and sales representatives

Motivated by achieving and exceeding sales targets

Willingness to adapt to changes in sales processes and technologies

Must pass pre-employment background screenings
