American Hometown Media, based in Nashville, TN is looking for a Social Media Manager to join the justapinch.com team. Justapinch.com, launched in 2011, has amassed the largest repository of user-posted recipes in digital media and is proud of its unique heritage: Real Recipes from Real Home Cooks. Justapinch.com is seeking a highly strategic and execution-focused Social Media Manager to lead day-to-day social media operations and drive measurable audience growth across multiple platforms.
This is a high-ownership role ideal for someone who understands both the creative and analytical sides of social media. We’re looking for someone who not only enjoys creating content but also understands how to grow audiences, increase engagement, and drive measurable traffic.
This is a full-time, in-office position located in the Nashville area.
What You’ll Do Daily Execution & Content Creation
Manage and publish daily content across Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X, TikTok, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
Use scheduling tools (Hootsuite) to ensure consistent execution
Create original content – not just reposting, but building compelling social-first material
Adapt and repurpose long-form content into platform-native formats
Perform light photo editing, basic design, copywriting, and layout formatting
Growth Strategy & Traffic Development
Own the social growth strategy across all channels
Help shift traffic from third-party content platforms back to owned digital properties
Develop platform-specific strategies based on performance data
Identify opportunities to improve referral traffic amid shifting algorithm landscapes
Test new formats, trends, and distribution strategies
Analytics & Optimization
Track performance metrics and engagement trends
Provide clear reporting and actionable insights
Understand platform rules, algorithm behaviors, and best practices
Continuously refine strategy based on performance data
What We’re Looking For
3–5 years of professional social media experience
Currently managing and posting to multiple platforms on a regular basis
Strong understanding of platform best practices and algorithm trends
Experience with scheduling tools
Basic design and photo editing skills (Photoshop or similar preferred)
Strong copywriting and communication skills
Comfortable working in a CMS
Highly organized, independent, and proactive
We’re looking for someone who thrives in a small team environment, enjoys autonomy, and can confidently own social strategy and execution from start to finish.
Work Environment
Full-time, in-office role (Monday–Friday)
Flexible scheduling within standard business hours
Collaborative, casual workplace culture
Direct exposure to executive leadership
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary: $60,000–$80,000
100% company paid Dental, Vision, and Medical coverage (no employee payroll deductions)
