Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral health care agency offering a variety of programs throughout Arizona. CBI provides residential, outpatient, inpatient, patient‑centered medical homes, medication‑assisted treatment, and crisis services to individuals experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, and mental illness.
Client Stabilization Specialist Job Summary : The Client Stabilization Specialist is a shelter or temporary lodging site‑based position whose primary role is to work with individuals and families experiencing homelessness. The Specialist ensures that those entering shelters or lodging sites are stabilized, conducts intake into HMIS, provides education on rules and responsibilities, supplies orientation, and performs face‑to‑face visits, perimeter walks, and escalation of issues that impact stabilization. The Specialist communicates with leadership and Client Care Coordinators on program violations and identified needs of individuals with complex substance use, mental health, housing, and medical care needs.
The Specialist completes data entry into the established data system—violations, end‑of‑shift notes, room checks—and identifies when a housing prioritization assessment is required for all individuals.
Skills & Requirements
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of twelve months of recovery from substance use and/or mental health disorders required.
1‑3 years of full‑time health‑care related work experience preferred, with exposure to behavioral and medical crisis situations.
Valid identification required.
Behavioral Health Technician certification in accordance with A.A.C. R9‑10‑101.33 and CBI Clinical Policies and Procedures preferred, but not required.
Completion of CBI Peer Certification within 90 days of hire.
Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (program specific).
