Overview
We are currently looking to add a Golf Professional to our team at Thousand Oaks Golf Club. This individual will be a key member of our team and be a leader in the Golf Operation as we continue to enhance our membership experience. Join the family of Golf Professionals at RedWater Golf! RedWater has 8 golf facilities (6 private & 2 public), 5 private pools, 9 event venues, and 10 restaurants, as well as multiple LiveGolf Studios simulator locations and RedWater Fitness facilities throughout West Michigan! RedWater continues to grow and support the golf, sports, and fitness industry in West Michigan by providing a high-quality collection of facilities for their members, guests, and public alike. At RedWater Golf, we understand that each person's relationship with golf changes throughout their lives. Whether someone golfs occasionally or is on the tee box every day, RedWater has an option for them. Our people-first approach to golf provides members and guests with everything they need, but nothing they won't use. We're happy to see people on one of our public courses or with one of our numerous membership options, which range from corporate, to single or family, to pool only. Ravines Golf Club The Golf Club at Thornapple Pointe At our private clubs, we take a unique approach by adding benefits to your home club membership. These benefits include the option to make tee times at any of the other 5 private clubs, standardized member rates at our public facilities, free or discounted RedWater Fitness memberships and rebates in all 10 of our restaurant locations. Our ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience and preferably be a Class A PGA Member. The candidate will have an outgoing personality with the ability to work with a team in a fast-paced environment. They will need to be detail-oriented, great at multitasking, have a strong work ethic with core values, and the flexibility to work nights and weekends depending on the schedule of the club. Teamwork mentality and positive attitude are a must. Knowledge in Word and Excel, Golf Genius, and NorthStar or Club Caddie software are a plus. Essential Responsibilities
Our Golf Professionals are heavily involved in all areas of the golf operation and club activities and will be asked to support the Head Golf Professional and all other golf staff as needed for success. The following are responsibilities for this position, but not limited to just these: Oversee the entire golf operation in the absence of the Head Golf Professional Work as a TEAM and LEAD the other golf team members for overall operational success Always maintain the highest level of professionalism and Member/Guest service Efficiently manage the daily golf operations Manage all golf shop operations - tee sheet management, point of sale management, special orders, inventory management, demo club management, etc. Assist with merchandise in the golf shop - receive and display golf shop merchandise in a professional and boutique-like manner Help coordinate or lead member events, weekly member leagues, and outside/charity events Assist with any junior golf programs Serve as an ambassador for the club, Redwater Golf, and the game of golf in our community Benefits
