
Import Specialist
Mid America Overseas, Inc., Charleston, SC, United States
Daily maintenance and tracking and tracing of international shipments
Professional Communication with truckers, warehouses, steamship lines, and other forwarders on a daily basis.
Maintain/Update Client information and SOP’s
Punctual daily follow up of all inquiries from customers, agents and MAO offices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (both verbal and written)
Provide excellent Customer Service to ensure customer issues are resolved.
Coordinate Sea Freight Forwarding of international shipments from Door to Door.
Maintain/Update Client information; change in contact, special instructions, and any other specific requirements.
Daily interactions and reporting to local management.
Ensuring accurate and timely client and vendors billing within company guidelines and timelines.
Negotiate cost-effective rates with service providers to ensure maximum profitability.
