Position Summary The Inside Sales Specialist plays a pivotal role in elevating the cruise experience by providing exemplary Sales Support to Travel Advisors and to our Aman at Sea Sales Team. Reporting to the Senior Director of Sales, this position will serve as a subject‑matter expert, ensuring seamless engagement and alignment with FIT Sales Team and the company's goals. Responsibilities include addressing booking issues, resolving challenges, and providing information and access to elevate the overall service experience for our valuable Travel Partners/Advisors.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to Advisors, National Accounts and Field Sales Directors, addressing inquiries related to pricing, bookings, promotions, policy questions, and reporting.
Use critical thinking and creative problem solving to resolve customer relations issues on behalf of travel partners to enhance their experience. Go the extra mile to provide critical service and support.
Log, audit, and monitor partners requests, ensuring compliance with guidelines and accurate, and timely processing.
Work with colleagues internally including Reservations, Revenue Management, etc., to determine validity of issues, work on solutions and solve problems efficiently and completely.
Coordinate sales events including developing landing pages and budget.
Set up and manage data from new and existing accounts in the CRM.
Support as needed with processes, template creation, trainings, issuance, tracking, and execution of department improvement.
Undertake any additional duties as assigned by the Director.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
High School Diploma and Associate/Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years of customer service or sales experience, preferably in the cruise and/or luxury travel industry.
Inbound customer service‑related call center experience required.
Experience using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform.
Skills
Skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
Excellent customer service skills with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy, coupled with project management skills.
Problem‑solver with strong follow‑up skills.
Adaptable to a fast‑paced environment with the ability to manage shifting priorities. Ability to maintain composure in the face of difficult situations.
Budget management and reconciliation skills for events.
Team player with strong collaboration skills; ability to work independently.
Positive, energetic, and professional demeanor.
Experience in a matrix environment ideal.
Bilingual is a plus.
