Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search for a Partnerships & Sales Manager for an events organization focused on convening leaders across tech, venture, and finance. This role is hybrid, based in Midtown Manhattan, with four days onsite and flexibility for remote work.
POSITION OVERVIEW The Partnerships & Sales Manager will own sponsorship revenue generation for an annual summit and a year-round curated events portfolio. This role is highly visible, externally facing, and central to driving growth through strategic, high-value partnerships. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, relationship-driven environments and brings a strong hunter mentality with polished executive presence.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Drive sponsorship and partnership revenue for event programming
Source, pitch, negotiate, and close six-figure and larger sponsorship deals
Activate and expand an existing network across tech, venture, finance, and adjacent sectors
Collaborate with senior leadership to craft bespoke, strategic sponsorship packages
Manage a full-cycle sales pipeline using CRM and sponsorship sales tools
Represent the organization in high-profile, in-person meetings and events
QUALIFICATIONS
Proven success closing six-figure+ sponsorship or partnership deals
Experience selling conference, event-based, or experiential sponsorships
Established network within tech, venture, finance, or related ecosystems
Strong presentation, negotiation, and executive-level communication skills
Comfortable operating in lean, fast-moving, high-visibility environments
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Total On-Target Compensation: $180,000–$200,000
Base salary of approximately $130,000-$140,000
Highly competitive commission plan
Standard full-time benefits package
