Job Title
YORK Account Manager
Location Atlanta metro, Georgia. Requires travel within surrounding markets. Full‑time position. Legal entity: 1048 JC Residential and Light Commercial LLC.
Start Date According to arrangement.
Job Responsibilities
Build relationships with existing customers while expanding growth year‑over‑year.
Discuss all products and programs offered by YORK Factory Direct to increase share of wallet.
Advise customers to utilize all program features available to grow their business.
Prospect and recruit customers who fit the YORK partnership profile, demonstrating why YORK is an industry leader.
Create custom marketing strategies to help customers grow.
Receive support from market leaders and a marketing manager as needed.
Assist customers in selecting the best YORK products to meet their client’s needs, coaching them on selling approach, product specifications, performance and application regulations.
Negotiate prices and terms of sale.
Ensure customers attend industry‑leading training classes offered locally and virtually.
Cooperate with local service managers to improve field quality and consumer confidence.
Perform to plan.
Set weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals for overall sales, sales calls, product mix/segmentation, new dealer registrations, training, and other sales metrics.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
5+ years of HVAC/R experience
5+ years of strategic account management experience
Salesforce proficiency
Ability to travel within GA assigned market territory
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
Strong proficiency in business writing, verbal communication, and negotiation
Skilled in using Windows operating systems, including Microsoft Outlook and Teams
Self‑motivated and high energy level with a desire to exceed goals
Proven ability to operate across sales and operations, aligning customer needs with operational execution to drive business results
Ability to use the sales process to uncover customer objections and determine appropriate solutions, maintaining a plan of action until desired results are achieved
Understand principles and processes for best‑in‑class customer service
Ability to listen, gain trust, and bring an action, project, resolution, or sale to closure with customers
Business acumen including sales forecasting, opportunity management and customer planning
Ability to understand and communicate in today’s technologically driven business environment
