We are looking for a
Sales Support Specialist
to support the commercial team by managing customer pre‑qualification and setup documentation, assisting Inside Sales with cost sheets and proposal preparation, and handling key operational and administrative tasks. The role ensures work is completed accurately and on time while independently prioritizing competing demands to support overall commercial team success.
What You’ll Do
Serve as primary contact for customer setup documentation and compliance packages
Complete and maintain accurate, up-to-date customer qualification and compliance paperwork
Coordinate with Finance, Legal, Operations, HR, and Sales to collect required information and approvals
Review, update, and maintain company information used for customer qualification and contracting
Maintain organized qualification and setup records in SharePoint
Assemble basic quotes, including Excel cost sheets and Word proposals, using provided inputs
Open CRM opportunities, assign job numbers, and manage procurement portal accounts (e.g., SAM.gov, Ariba), including users, access, and notifications
Support RFQ requirements, system setup, proposal submissions, and compilation of required sales support materials (COIs, safety/EMR data, bonds, etc.)
Improve consistency, accuracy, and professionalism of customer‑facing documentation
Support continuous improvement of sales support processes and standards
Provide ad‑hoc administrative support to the Inside Sales Manager and commercial leadership
The Experience We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
1–3 years of Sales Operations or Project Coordination experience, preferably in technical, industrial, or services environments
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and standard business software
Ability to independently prioritize multiple tasks while aligning with Inside Sales leadership objectives
Strong work ethic, sense of urgency, and customer‑service mindset
Professional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Additional Requirements
Ability to travel up to 10% across the continental U.S.
Must pass a background check and drug screening
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Familiarity with CRM systems, procurement portals, and basic sales quoting preferred
Prior experience in the power/utility industry
