In this role, you’ll collaborate with customers, prospects, and internal teams to develop tailored product specifications, quotations, and solutions. You’ll support our Engineered Product Specialists and work cross‑functionally to ensure customer satisfaction and technical accuracy.
What You’ll Do
Develop a strong understanding of assigned engineered products and their applications.
Prepare accurate and timely quotations and technical documentation.
Communicate with customers via phone, email, virtual meetings, and occasional in‑person visits or tradeshows.
Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, and other departments to deliver high‑quality solutions.

What We’re Looking For
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, and other Office applications.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and maintain accurate records in a CRM system.
Familiarity with technical drawings or CAD is a plus, but not required.
Post‑high school education and prior customer service or project experience preferred.
Work Environment
This is a full‑time, in‑office position based in Omaha, NE.
Hybrid work may be considered after six months, based on performance and business needs.

Works with Outside Sales and other departments to assure customer satisfaction with our work.
Location The position requires full‑time, in‑office attendance, five days a week, at our Omaha, NE location during the initial six months of employment. Hybrid work may be considered afterward at the discretion of the supervisor, based on performance and business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Engineered Product Knowledge
Over time, develop a strong understanding of the assigned products and applications for the markets served.
Accurate and Timely Quotations
Determine specifications as they relate to assigned products, develop quotations, and provide technical documents to customers.
Work with customers primarily via telephone, email, and virtual calls; as well as occasional on‑site visits and tradeshows.
Consult with Engineered Product Specialists, Market Development Managers, or others as appropriate on decisions with high risk or with long‑term implications.
Working with the Engineered Product Specialist for the appropriate products, make case‑by‑case decisions on issues such as pricing, discounting, requests for credit, or issues related to quality.
Quality and EHS Compliance
Support and uphold the Quality and EHS policies of the organization.

Communication Skills The ideal candidate will possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, which are critical for daily interactions with Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Engineering, other departments, and customers. The role requires troubleshooting, effectively communicating, and resolving issues in collaboration with other parties.
Microsoft Outlook: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook is essential.
Microsoft Teams: Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily communications, including chat, video calls, and screen sharing.
Tools/Software Proficiency
Microsoft Office Suite: Intermediate skills, especially in Excel and spreadsheet manipulation.
CRM: Proficient navigation and utilization of our internal Customer Relationship Management system; precision in data entry, creating prospects, updating contact information, and searching for materials, quotes, and customers.
Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Qualifications
Type at a minimum speed of 50 words per minute with high accuracy.
Work at a pace exceeding the average.
Attention to detail is critical, given the management of multiple concurrent projects and documentation.
Strong organizational skills due to the volume of projects managed.
Familiarity with engineered drawings and CAD is preferred, but not required.
Education and/or Experience Post‑high school education and previous customer service or similar experience are preferred. Prior experience handling complex customer requirements and projects is preferred, but not required.
Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Ability to calculate, interpret, and manipulate data on Excel and similar software packages.
Physical Demands Regular requirements: sit and talk or hear; frequently use a computer keyboard and mouse; occasionally stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms; occasionally lift or move up to 10 pounds and very occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Vision: close vision and ability to adjust focus to work on a computer monitor.
Work Environment Moderate noise level (ringing telephones, pages, several people conversing at once, etc.). Reasonable accommodations can be provided.
