Job Summary As a Production Customer Service Representative, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients throughout the insurance policy lifecycle. You will be responsible for managing client inquiries, policy changes, and ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. This position involves collaboration with various internal departments to address client needs and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to client inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
Provide information on insurance products, coverage options, and policy details.
Assist clients in understanding policy terms, premium payments, and claims processes.
Policy Administration
Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals accurately and in a timely manner.
Update client information in the system and ensure data accuracy.
Collaborate with underwriting and claims departments to address client requests and concerns.
Problem Resolution
Investigate and resolve client issues, discrepancies, and complaints.
Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department and follow up on resolutions.
Documentation And Compliance
Maintain accurate and organized client records.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with underwriters, claims processors, and other internal teams to meet client needs.
Provide feedback to improve processes and enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in customer service, preferably in the insurance industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
Knowledge of insurance products, terminology, and processes.
Proficiency in using insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite & AMS360.
