We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team in Plano, Texas. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in Business Analysis, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. This role requires a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our projects align with organizational goals.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough business requirements analysis to identify and document business needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate requirements for new and existing systems.
Develop detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure stakeholder alignment.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications for development teams.
Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions to improve business processes.
Support project management activities, including project planning, risk management, and status reporting.
Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that solutions meet business needs.
Provide training and support to end users on new systems and processes.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in Business Analysis.
Mandatory Skills
Strong expertise in Business Analysis methodologies and best practices.
Proficient in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
Experience with process modeling and improvement techniques.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and Confluence.
Preferred Skills
Experience in Agile and Waterfall project management methodologies.
Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
Knowledge of industry specific regulations and compliance standards.
Experience in leading cross functional teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
10 15 years of experience in Business Analysis or a related role.
Relevant certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMI PBA (Professional in Business Analysis) are a plus.
