NuCara Home Medical is seeking a full-time Customer Service Representative for our
Oskaloosa, IA
location. The hours of the Oskaloosa store are 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The position is full-time and offers pay starting at $17.00 per hour, plus a competitive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life, long‑term disability insurance, 401(k) match, and PTO.

What We Do Responsibilities include in‑person customer service, answering phones, verifying insurance, ordering products, performing equipment set‑ups in store, communicating with healthcare professionals and billing insurance. Drug test and criminal background check are required. This position requires participation in a telephone‑based on‑call rotation, with some evening and weekend hours required.
Who Should Apply Successful candidates must possess exceptional customer‑service skills, computer skills, and organizational skills. If you are new to customer service but have a clean driving record, a clean criminal history, are positive and upbeat, and are looking for an opportunity to enter the growing health‑care field, this is a position you should consider.
Candidates must be able to follow directions, be detail‑oriented, and have basic competencies using a smartphone, iPad, and desktop computer. Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
As an accredited company, NuCara Home Medical requires that candidates successfully pass all required pre‑employment screenings before starting employment. Required screenings for the CSR position include a criminal background check, OIG exclusions list screening, drug screening, and driving record check.
