Solar Sales Specialist

We are seeking a B2B Sales Specialist, preferably with experience in the Solar industry to generate leads, manage client relationships, and close sales to meet or exceed company revenue targets. This role requires excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Present and promote products/services to existing and prospective customers.

Visit clients, experience with exhibits, and possess a high level of problem solving.

Develop and maintain strong customer relationships.

Prepare and deliver sales proposals and presentations.

Monitor industry trends and competitor activities.

Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Provide exceptional consultative selling and product detailing.

Generate leads and grow existing relationships by maintaining an accurate, detailed client book for an active, repeat customer base.

Make cold calls or perform warm outreach, using outside‑the‑box thinking to develop new and unique sales tactics.

Work with account executives to design industry‑specific outreach efforts.

Utilize Salesforce tools to ensure standardized process throughout all stages of a sale.

Willing to travel 50 percent of the time, being flexible and adaptable to the company's needs.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred.

Three or more years of sales experience within the "Solar industry".

Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Results‑driven and customer‑focused.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.

Experience in closing enterprise‑level deals.

Strong ability to analyze business opportunities effectively.

Work Environment The work is typically performed indoors and outdoors. Applicants located in NY, FL, TX, CO, IL, SC, and VA are highly preferred.

Physical Demands Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs.
