A bit about the role This role reports to the Head of Growth, Shoptalk US

Hyve is looking for an Account Manager, Retention role to join our NYC-based team and drive sponsorship and partnership sales across our US portfolio.

We are looking for an individual who has a strong track record for upselling existing business, that is self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced environment! This individual should possess strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to uncover emerging new segments and expand existing ones.

If you have 5+ years of sales experience and would like to be part of the in-person and digital events that are shaping the future of various industries, we’d love to hear from you.

This role requires you to be on-site in our Midtown NYC office 3x week.

As part of your job, you’ll be:

Consistently meeting or exceeding individual and team sales targets

Managing and maintaining a strong pipeline, with a clear understanding of client spend, priorities, and multiple stakeholders

Identifying upsell opportunities through deep knowledge of client needs and product offerings

Responding promptly to customer inquiries and effectively prioritise accounts across all stages of the sales cycle

Accurately tracking and reporting account activity using CRM systems

Collaborating closely with sales colleagues and cross-functional teams

Staying informed on industry trends, market developments, and key players within the retail tech ecosystem

To be successful in this role, you must have/be:

Proven consultative B2B sales experience with a strong track record of results

Confidence, motivation, and a professional, positive “can-do” approach

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships both over the phone and in person, including with Fortune 500 executives

Excellent communication skills (written and verbal); strong organisational and time-management capabilities

Preferred:

Previous telephone-based B2B sales experience

Experience within events or a related industry

The benefits:

The salary band for this position ranges from $80,000-90,000 based on experience

This position will be eligible for a competitive commission structure
