
Structural Demolition Superintendent

We’re hiring an experienced Structural Demo Super who responsible for planning, supervising, and coordinating demolition operations on construction sites. They ensure demolition work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with regulations.
Location 50 miles from Brockton Ma
Salary- $110,000-115,000
Responsibilities
Manage daily demolition operations on-site.
Supervise demolition crews, equipment operators, and subcontractors.
Coordinate with project managers and engineers.
Enforce workplace safety procedures and regulations, including standards from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
Conduct safety meetings and hazard assessments.
Ensure proper use of PPE and demolition safety methods.
Develop demolition plans and schedules.
Coordinate site logistics, equipment delivery, and waste removal.
Work with structural engineers on demolition sequencing.
Manage heavy equipment used in demolition (excavators, wrecking balls, shears, etc.).
Ensure equipment is inspected and operated properly.
Ensure compliance with environmental and local regulations.
Monitor hazardous material handling (asbestos, lead, etc.).
Maintain daily reports and site documentation.
Resolve field issues and adjust plans as necessary.
Qualifications
5+ years supervising demolition (or heavy civil with demo scope)
Experience supervising field crews
Knowledge of structural systems (steel, concrete and masonry)
Safety-first leader with strong communication skills
Able to read plans and manage field documentation
Valid driver’s license; travel to job sites required
