A well-established commercial real estate firm located in Chicago’s Loop is seeking a motivated Property Associate to join their team, offering a salary of $60,000 and the opportunity to play an important role supporting daily operations across one or multiple office properties. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment while helping ensure seamless property operations, strong tenant relationships, and efficient administrative and financial support for the property management team. Responsibilities of the Property Associate
Provide administrative and operational support to the property management team across assigned buildings Assist with financial processes including reviewing invoices, coordinating payments, and supporting billing activities Maintain organized lease documentation and help track important lease notices and deadlines Serve as a helpful point of contact for tenants, vendors, and internal teams to ensure requests and communications are handled promptly Monitor incoming emails, calls, and service requests and direct them to the appropriate team members Maintain accurate and well-organized digital and physical filing systems for property records and documentation Coordinate building access for vendors, visitors, and contractors as needed Assist with tracking insurance documentation and monitoring upcoming expiration dates Prepare reports, general correspondence, and property-related documentation for distribution Support tenant onboarding activities including move‑ins, move‑outs, and tenant communications Provide general administrative assistance to help ensure efficient and organized property operations Qualifications of the Property Associate
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field required At least 1 year of experience in commercial real estate, property management, or administrative support is a plus Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort learning new systems or technology Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Self-starter who can work both independently and collaboratively within a team Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities Basic understanding of accounting or financial processes is helpful
