Brand Strategist This is a hybrid role requiring in-office work Tuesday–Thursday in Charlotte, NC. Applicants must be local to the Charlotte area.

The Role The Brand Strategist plays a central role in shaping the strategic direction of our client engagements.

This position leads brand positioning and narrative development while ensuring strategy translates into integrated demand generation programs that drive measurable business outcomes.

You will work directly with executive stakeholders, facilitate discovery sessions, synthesize research into differentiated positioning, and partner cross-functionally to align brand strategy with performance marketing initiatives.

This is a high-accountability role for someone who thinks strategically, communicates confidently, and connects brand to growth.

What You’ll Lead

Develop differentiated brand positioning, messaging architecture, and narrative frameworks

Facilitate executive discovery workshops to uncover strategic opportunity

Translate research and insight into clear, actionable strategic direction

Author insight-driven briefs that guide creative and campaign development

Align brand strategy with demand generation KPIs including pipeline, ROI, and customer acquisition cost

Conduct competitive positioning and category analysis

Develop multi-channel campaign strategies across digital and offline channels

Collaborate with performance marketing teams to ensure closed-loop impact

Identify opportunities to convert engagement into owned audience assets (CRM records, subscribers, portal users)

Leverage research tools, analytics platforms, and AI technologies to elevate strategic recommendations

Manage multiple client engagements in a fast-paced agency environment

Required Experience

2–4+ years agency experience (required)

3+ years developing brand strategy and integrated marketing programs (B2B or manufacturing preferred)

Experience leading discovery and translating insights into differentiated positioning

Experience aligning brand strategy with measurable demand generation outcomes

Ability to engage executive stakeholders with clarity and confidence

Experience working in closed-loop marketing ecosystems

Strong project ownership and ability to manage concurrent engagements

Proficiency with research, analytics, and AI-enabled tools
