Apparel Production Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Coordinator to join an established and thriving private label manufacturer. The Production Coordinator will play a vital role in managing the end-to-end apparel production process, ensuring quality, timelines, and cost goals are achieved.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Production Manager in overseeing the complete lifecycle of apparel production across various programs and categories
Coordinate and monitor production schedules to guarantee on-time delivery of products to retail partners
Create, update, and track Purchase Orders (POs), ensuring accuracy related to costs, lead times, and delivery deadlines
Maintain regular communication with overseas vendors as well as internal teams including Design, Technical, Merchandising, and Logistics
Manage the Time & Action (T&A) calendar, monitoring key production milestones and deadlines
Track approvals for bulk fabrics, trims, lab dips, fit samples, and top-of-production samples (TOPs)
Ensure compliance with required testing and packaging standards for retail accounts
Work closely with Logistics and Compliance teams to facilitate smooth shipping and customs processes
Maintain accurate production records using PLM systems (experience with Centric is a plus) and Excel trackers
Skills & Qualifications
1 to 3 years of experience in apparel production, ideally within private label manufacturing
Strong understanding of the apparel development process from sourcing through delivery
Excellent communication and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously
Proficient in PLM systems and Microsoft Excel
Highly detail-oriented with a strong sense of urgency and commitment to follow-through
Salary range: $65-80k
