New Orleans: Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a
Administrative Assistant / Accounting Clerk
to support daily office and accounting operations. This position requires strong communication skills, professionalism when interacting with customers, and the ability to handle basic accounting and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and willing to learn internal systems and processes.
Essential Duties
Provide professional phone support and maintain courteous, business-level phone etiquette when assisting customers
Enter sales orders and generate invoices accurately and efficiently
Handle and process cash, checks, and credit card transactions
Maintain organized filing systems for accounting and administrative records
Assist with end-of-month closing activities and inventory counts
Draft and respond to professional business emails and written communications
Provide general administrative support to the office and accounting team
Learn and utilize company accounting software for order entry and financial tasks
Perform additional administrative and accounting duties as needed
Requirements / Skills
Professional phone etiquette and customer service skills
Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite
Basic accounting knowledge and ability to process financial transactions
Business-level writing and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a busy office environment
Willingness to learn company systems and procedures
Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods
Ability to occasionally stand, walk, and handle office materials or files
Ability to lift and carry light office materials when needed
