Customer Service Representative (Baton Rouge, Louisiana)
Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our client’s team. This is a full‑time position, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with a one‑hour lunch break from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
Essential Duties:
Process new and repair orders in the AS‑400 system and confirm orders via email.
Price repair orders and prepare repair quotes for customers.
Initiate new quotes in the system, price them for management approval, and send to customers.
Prepare shipping paperwork for orders to be shipped or delivered.
Complete job packets after orders have been shipped.
Log and file sent quotes for record‑keeping.
Answer incoming calls from customers and sales representatives, routing calls to appropriate departments as needed.
Respond promptly to customer emails received through the sales email account.
Communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure customer and sales team needs are met.
Requirements/Skills:
Strong attention to detail.
Basic mathematical skills.
Good organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to communicate clearly by phone and email.
