What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
Serve as the primary point-of-contact for major accounts, maintaining high-level executive relationships
Sell the employer's products and services while managing relationships with existing national accounts
Identify and qualify business opportunities, addressing competitive threats and ensuring customer satisfaction
Prepare and present proposals, lead negotiations, and close sales effectively
Coordinate account strategies and tactics with internal sales support teams
What is Required (Qualifications):
Minimum of 8 years of direct experience in account management
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
Strong negotiation and closing skills
Proven ability to sell solutions in a complex matrix environment
Specialized knowledge in networking products, preferably those of the employer
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
Experience with Internet-related software or systems
Advanced presentation and solution-selling abilities
Strong influencing skills and customer-focused approach
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize workload
