Principal Account Manager, Foundation Model Providers

Are you passionate about the frontier of generative AI and foundation model development? Do you have the business acumen and technical depth to serve as a trusted advisor to some of the most innovative AI companies in the world? Are you excited about helping enterprise AI-native companies scale their infrastructure and go-to-market motion on AWS?

Key job responsibilities

Own the strategic relationship with two of the most consequential AI companies in the generative AI landscape.

Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration with enterprise accounts.

Build and maintain relationships with C-level executives, engineering, infrastructure, partner organization, and sales teams.

Lead a cross-functional team shaping strategy for partners, professional services, and training/certification.

Develop and execute a territory strategy and consistently deliver quarterly revenue targets.

Sell at the most strategic (C-level) levels and implement a broad strategy for customer acceptance and service implementation.

Collaborate with AWS resources (Executives, Partner, Support, Solution Architect) to advocate for the customer while aligning with AWS business needs.

Manage partnership and technical collaboration, including new service adoption and new line‑of‑business development.

Provide dotted‑line responsibility for partnership and technical collaboration.

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of technology‑related sales, business development or equivalent experience

Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C‑level executives and cross‑functional teams

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with AWS technologies

Experience with cloud, server or infrastructure technologies and business models

Experience in large complex deal negotiations with a successful track record

Understanding of the generative AI competitive landscape, including open‑source vs. proprietary model dynamics

Experience working with venture‑backed, high‑growth AI‑native companies

Compensation and Benefits The base salary range for this position is: US$170,000.00–230,000.00 (Irvine, Santa Monica) US$187,000.00–252,900.00 (Mountain View, San Francisco) US$170,000.00–230,000.00 (Bellevue, Seattle)

In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package includes sign‑on payments, restricted stock units (RSUs), and sales incentives.
