Location: Dayton, Ohio (Fully Onsite)
Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 annually, depending on experience
About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented
Loan Processor
to join a growing team in Dayton, Ohio. This role is responsible for managing loan files from application through closing while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and a smooth customer experience. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Review and process loan applications for completeness and accuracy
Collect and verify borrower documentation including income, credit, and asset information
Communicate with borrowers, lenders, and third parties to obtain required documentation
Ensure loan files meet underwriting and regulatory requirements
Maintain accurate records and update loan status throughout the process
Assist with preparing files for underwriting and closing
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Loan Processor, Mortgage Processor, or in a similar lending or financial services role preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple loan files simultaneously
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and loan processing systems
