Role Overview Silver Sands seeks a Marketing Manager to serve as the operational engine of our marketing function.

This foundational leadership role entails a blend of marketing operations, CRM strategy, email marketing, digital performance oversight, campaign management, and brand stewardship.

Working directly with the Creative Director, the Marketing Manager will translate creative vision into clear, disciplined execution across our hotel, restaurants, and spa. They’ll play a critical role in shaping how Silver Sands grows - thoughtfully, sustainably, and without losing what makes the brand special.

The Creative Director defines the strategic direction and brand vision. The Marketing Manager owns the systems, sequencing, and executional clarity that bring it to life.

The ideal candidate will understand that great brands are built through consistency, clarity, and longterm thinking - not noise - and know how to translate data into thoughtful brand and revenue decisions across verticals. Experience in hospitality marketing, lifestyle brands, or multi-vertical consumer businesses is a must.

Key Responsibilities Marketing Operations & Campaign Orchestration

Own and steward the master marketing calendar across hotel, restaurants, spa, and seasonal programming

Strategically sequence campaigns, newsletters, launches, promotions, partnerships, and experiential initiatives

Align internal teams and external partners around timelines, deliverables, and launch readiness

Drive projects from concept through execution with rigor, clarity, and operational discipline

CRM, Email & Guest Communications

Lead newsletter strategy, execution, segmentation, and lifecycle cadence

Shape messaging hierarchy and editorial flow in partnership with the Creative Director

Oversee CRM transition to Revinate and strengthen segmentation and automation strategy

Establish clear reporting frameworks to measure performance, optimize engagement, and inform decision-making

Digital Marketing, Paid Media & Performance Strategy

Oversee paid media, retargeting, email performance, and website conversion strategy

Bring working fluency in Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, conversion tracking, and attribution models

Define scope, budgets, KPIs, and reporting cadence with external digital specialists

Translate data into strategic insights that drive measurable revenue impact

Brand Writing & Editorial Stewardship

Contribute to campaign narratives, long-form storytelling, and messaging refinement

Edit and quality-control copy across channels for clarity and cohesion

Protect tonal integrity and consistency across hotel, restaurant, and spa verticals

Support the thoughtful evolution of voice within established brand parameters

Content, SEO & Website Strategy

Partner on website updates, landing pages, and multi-vertical content strategy

Strengthen SEO through keyword strategy, metadata, on-page optimization, and search visibility improvements

Support emerging AI search optimization through clear structure, semantic clarity, and strong narrative architecture

Ensure website, email, and paid media initiatives operate in a cohesive, conversion-driven ecosystem

Who You Are

5+ years of experience in hospitality, lifestyle, or experiential marketing environments

Proven experience managing CRM platforms, segmentation strategy, lifecycle marketing, and campaign analytics

Highly organized, systems-minded, and detail-oriented

A disciplined operator who thrives within strong creative direction

A confident writer and thoughtful editor

Fluent in both creative storytelling and technical marketing workflows

Comfortable leading cross-functional contributors and managing multiple timelines simultaneously

Location & Working Style This is a hybrid role based in Greenport, NY, on the North Fork of Long Island. A consistent on-site presence is important - Silver Sands is a tactile, experiential brand, and the work benefits from immersion in the property and its operations.

That said, we believe flexibility is part of modern work. For the right candidate, we are open to structuring a thoughtful rhythm that supports both performance and quality of life.

Compensation & Growth Compensation range: $90–120k, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and performance-based growth opportunities.

About Silver Sands Silver Sands Motel & Beach Bungalows is a thoughtfully rejuvenated 1950s waterfront retreat set along 1,400 feet of private beachfront in Greenport, NY. Spanning 45 acres with an 18-acre salt marsh and a 15-acre underwater oyster farm, it is one of the largest waterfront hotel properties on Long Island and one of only two all-electric, fossil-fuel-free hotels in the United States.

Designed as a relaxed yet refined micro-resort, the property offers twenty hotel rooms, eight Beach Shacks, two two-bedroom Bungalows, and two three- to four-bedroom Beach Houses, many with unobstructed water views. Guests move seamlessly between three distinct dining experiences at Nookies, Eddie's, and The Boathouse, then unwind at the on-site spa, the Salt Marsh Wellness Sanctuary.
