Human Resources Business Partner
The Human Resources Business Partner contributes to company performance by providing tactical and strategic consulting on people and organization development initiatives and strategies in support of the business objectives. Duties and Responsibilities: Partners with leadership to align HR strategy to business strategy Analyzes trends, metrics and reports in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions, programs and policies and make recommendations. Utilize Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, charts & graphs) to collect, organize and summarize data. Conduct analysis on reports and data and use information to create and present information to leadership Research and monitor labor law updates; responsible for ensuring organizational compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and regulations by recommending changes/updates to HR policies, tools or best practices Processes documentation and prepares reports relating to employee activities (training, performance evaluations, employee changes, and terminations) Provides day-to-day coaching to leadership on a variety of actions to include employee relations issues, policy interpretation and application; talent management and development; and organizational design consultation May assist in conducting New Hire Orientation for new hires Continually champions Employee Referral Bonus program to include proactive identification of internal talent matching and advancement Evaluates issues, patterns, and trends to provide proactive insights for HR solution and program designs i.e. training to address certain needs Partners with Payroll, HRIS and Compensation and Benefits functions as needed to provide solutions for clients All other duties assigned Use, protect and disclose patients' protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards Understand and comply with Information Security and HIPAA policies and procedures at all times Limit viewing of PHI to the absolute minimum as necessary to perform assigned duties Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in human resources, psychology, or business-related field Five (5) to Eight (8) years of HR experience with at least two (2) years of experience in both talent acquisition and HR Business Partner experience Three (3) years experience manipulating data in Microsoft Excel Healthcare industry experience a plus Strong written and verbal communication skills Strong communication skills; ability to manage difficult employee situations Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization Strong problem solving and creative skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills required Gracious and welcoming personality for customer service interaction Working Conditions: Must possess a smartphone or electronic device capable of downloading applications, for multifactor authentication and security purposes. Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to move around the work area; sit; perform manual tasks; operate tools and other office equipment such as computer, computer peripherals and telephones; extend arms; kneel; talk and hear.
