IT Director of Enterprise Data and Analytics

The IT Director of Enterprise Data & Analytics is responsible for LHH’s enterprise data strategy, data governance, and analytics platform(s). This role owns the end-to-end data ecosystem including data flows, integrations, data warehouse development and infrastructure, reporting automation, and file transfers while setting standards that ensure data accuracy, security, and business value.

This leader partners cross-functionally with all departments to enable trusted enterprise reporting, scalable analytics, and future state capabilities such as AI-enabled data querying and insights. The role manages two direct reports (Senior IT Data Analyst and IT Analyst) and plays an active role in cybersecurity, data protection, and governance initiatives.

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing data and analytics team, including a Senior IT Data Analyst and an IT Analyst.
  • Provide direction and oversight to the Sr. IT Data Analyst to ensure accurate, timely, and standards based reporting and analysis.
  • Provide direction and oversight to the IT Analyst responsible for the data center and supporting services (file shares, printer servers, and related infrastructure).
  • Foster strong collaboration with other departments and other business leaders to understand reporting needs and translate them into scalable data solutions.
  • Influence stakeholders by clearly communicating data standards, governance expectations, and the value of enterprise analytics.
  • Promote best practices in data literacy, documentation, and self-service analytics across the organization.
  • Ensure clear role clarity, accountability, and growth opportunities for team members.
  • Develop and maintain a forward-looking enterprise data strategy that supports operational reporting and advanced analytics.
  • Evaluate and implement modern data architecture patterns, tools, and technologies to improve scalability, performance, and usability.
  • Partner with business leaders to translate complex business problems into actionable data and analytics solutions.
  • Serve as a member of the Data Governance Committee, helping define and enforce enterprise data standards, definitions, quality rules, and stewardship models.
  • Make informed decisions balancing speed, cost, security, and long-term scalability of data platforms and integrations.
  • Champion innovation by exploring AI driven querying, automation, and advanced analytics use cases that enhance decision-making.
  • Own and execute the enterprise data and analytics roadmap, ensuring alignment with LHH’s strategic goals and digital initiatives.
  • Lead the design, development, and ongoing optimization of LHH’s enterprise data warehouse, including data ingestion, transformation, storage, and performance.
  • Ensure reliable, timely, and accurate delivery of enterprise reports, dashboards, and regularly scheduled reporting outputs across the organization.
  • Drive automation of recurring reports and data processes to reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and increase speed to insight.
  • Oversee all enterprise file transfers and data integrations, ensuring reliability, monitoring, documentation, and issue resolution.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs and service level expectations for data availability, quality, performance, and reporting timeliness.
  • Support cybersecurity initiatives on data protection, access controls, audit readiness, and secure data handling practices.
  • Manage operational execution across data platforms, on-prem and cloud infrastructure components, and analytics tooling.
  • Demonstrate integrity, accountability, and ownership in managing enterprise data as a critical company asset.
  • Model LHH’s values by fostering trust, transparency, and collaboration across teams.
  • Maintain a continuous improvement mindset, proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen data quality, security, and insight delivery.
  • Act as a steward of all data, ensuring ethical use and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Education/Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. Restaurant applications and systems would be desired.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience leading information technology teams through complex business problems and solution management with cloud-based applications; experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders through project planning, build-test, and implementation phases. The ideal candidate will have experience presenting to stakeholders and the senior leadership team.
  • Expertise in IT applications, development, systems integrations including SFTP & APIs
  • Proficient in change management and life cycle stages.
  • Exceptional leadership skills: demonstrates a history of motivating and developing a group of direct reports to be customer focused and results oriented. The IT Director should exhibit a strong passion and history for developing those around him/her and working with their direct reports to advance career paths for future advancement.
  • The following certifications are considered a key advantage:
  • Relevant certifications such as CDMP (DAMA), Microsoft Fabric / Azure Data Engineer, Power BI or Tableau, CAP, PMP, ITIL, CISM, CISSP, or data privacy certifications are a strong advantage. AI and machine-learning certifications are a plus.
