Overview The Executive Director, Enterprise Data Management will lead and scale enterprise-wide data capabilities, initially focusing on R&D and Commercial functions. Reporting to the Vice President, Data, Analytics & Insights, this leader will define and execute the company's enterprise data strategy, strengthen governance frameworks, and ensure high-quality, trusted data enables AI, analytics, reporting, and business decision-making.
Responsibilities
Oversee Commercial Data Management
Build and lead a new R&D Data Management team
Establish enterprise data governance
Develop multi-year data roadmaps
Implement governance policies, stewardship models, and standards
Optimize data acquisition and vendor partnerships
Lead master data management across key domains such as product, study, asset, and HCP/HCO data
Ensure reliable, secure, and efficient data operations, partnering closely with IT, Information Security, Legal, and Enterprise AI to support compliant, scalable data platforms
Qualifications The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of pharma/biotech experience, including senior leadership in enterprise data management, with deep expertise in R&D data and governance. This individual is a collaborative, strategic leader who can build high-performing teams, drive cross-functional alignment, and champion a culture of data excellence and innovation.
