Private Equity Vice President

Blacklock Group is supporting the search for a Vice President to join a well-established private investment platform.

We are seeking a high-performing investment professional with 7–8 years of total experience, including at least five years of principal investing at a leading private equity fund or institutional asset manager.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of sourcing, executing, and actively managing investments across both growth-stage and established businesses, with particular exposure to technology-enabled and consumer sectors. Experience spanning minority growth equity, structured capital, and control-oriented buyouts is preferred, alongside full lifecycle transaction ownership from origination through exit.

Investment Experience

• Focused on identifying scalable businesses benefiting from structural shifts in technology adoption and digital transformation.
• Led and supported multiple platform and add-on acquisitions across enterprise software, digital infrastructure, tech-enabled services, media, and consumer brands.
• Deep experience underwriting complex capital structures and negotiating investor protections.
• Active involvement with portfolio companies on strategic initiatives, operational performance tracking, capital markets strategy, and M&A evaluation.
• Experience working alongside founders, executive teams, independent sponsors, and co-investors.
