About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President to join its private markets investment team. The successful candidate will play a key role in the evaluation, execution, and management of a diverse range of investment transactions within the lower middle market. This includes activities such as leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, management buyouts, refinancings, and growth financings. The Vice President will be expected to manage and enhance complex financial models, lead due diligence processes, and support portfolio companies through active engagement. Close collaboration with senior leadership and direct involvement in investment decision-making and portfolio oversight are integral to the role.
Applicants for the Vice President position should have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and 6-8 years' of relevant experience in investment banking, leveraged finance, private equity, or private credit. The role requires a candidate with strong analytical abilities, excellent organizational skills, and a highly self-motivated work ethic. The ideal candidate will have a strong team orientation, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and exceptional attention to detail. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential, as is the ability to mentor junior team members and contribute to their professional development. Strong written and verbal communication skills are also a must.
