Key Responsibilities Community Engagement & Partnerships

Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, local partners, and stakeholders.

Participate in community meetings, outreach initiatives, and engagement events.

Identify emerging community needs and opportunities and share insights with leadership to support program development.

Coordinate resources, referrals, and support services with partner organizations.

Assist with the planning and execution of community programs, initiatives, and partnerships.

Track grant timelines, reporting requirements, and program deliverables.

Collect and organize program outcomes, success stories, and reporting documentation.

Support preparation of materials for partner meetings, site visits, and learning sessions.

Coordinate volunteer opportunities, service events, and community engagement activities.

Support donor and partner events, including logistics, invitations, registration tracking, and follow-up.

Help create meaningful engagement opportunities that connect donors, volunteers, and partners to organizational impact.

Assist with event logistics including run-of-show schedules, nametags, and post-event reporting.

Maintain accurate donor records within the organization’s CRM system.

Assist with list building, donor segmentation, and reporting for fundraising campaigns and events.

Support preparation of donor correspondence, briefing materials, presentations, and reports.

Assist with donor prospect research and preparation of background materials for meetings.

Track sponsorship benefits, recognition opportunities, and donor acknowledgements.

Administrative & Project Coordination

Provide administrative and project support to leadership across community engagement and fundraising teams.

Maintain trackers and status updates for projects, events, and campaigns.

Coordinate cross-functional efforts between internal teams to ensure deadlines and priorities are met.

Qualifications Education

High School Diploma or GED required with relevant professional experience.

Experience

2+ years of experience in nonprofit administration, community engagement, fundraising/development, grant support, event coordination, or administrative/project support.

Technical Skills

Experience working with CRM systems or donor databases preferred (e.g., Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, Neon, HubSpot, etc.).

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).

Intermediate Excel skills including data organization, reporting, and analysis preferred.

Familiarity with event platforms, email marketing tools, or digital engagement tools is a plus.

Other Requirements

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Comfortable collaborating with internal teams, community partners, and external stakeholders.

Ability to occasionally work evenings or attend events as needed.
