WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING Project & Customer Management (80%)
Identify and develop new target customers, customer groups, and partners within the project business.
Analyze customer needs and translate them into tailored solution proposals and sales strategies.
Build and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with customers and key decision‑makers (e.g., engineers, design offices, architects, utility companies).
Manage the full lifecycle of acquired projects—from acquisition through to final completion.
Conduct customer visits and provide technical advice, including system design support.
Prepare and deliver presentations, sales training, and participate in trade fairs, events, and cross‑functional collaboration with internal teams.
General Responsibilities (20%)
Ensure cost‑efficient operations across contracts and procurement.
Identify opportunities for efficiency gains and automation.
Comply with all Panasonic policies, processes, and compliance requirements (e.g., ISM, CSR, Anti‑bribery & Corruption, Competition Law).
Support benchmarking activities and handle general administrative duties.
Participate in required trainings and business travel.
Act with safety as a top priority and report any H&S concerns.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (business) engineering, ideally with a focus on building or supply engineering; or equivalent technical qualification (heating, refrigeration, HVAC technician, master craftsman).
2–4 years of experience in heat pumps, commercial HVAC, VRF, chillers, or large cooling systems - ideally in sales or key account management.
Proven experience in project business (spec‑in) and managing large customers or key accounts.
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of relevant technical processes, products, and technologies.
Solid knowledge of project management and local regulatory frameworks.
Ability to interpret financial or technical data to support sound business decisions.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Strong commercial mindset with a solid understanding of TCO and ROI.
Hunter mentality, able to proactively identify and convert opportunities.
Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
Fluent Dutch speaker, with excellent command of English and French.
