The Opportunity
This is a quota‑carrying, full‑cycle sales role with real ownership from day one. You will report to the Sales Director and partner with the Bay Area Regional Leader on local GTM execution. You are accountable for revenue.
What the role looks like:
Own a defined territory within the Bay Area
Generate pipeline through outbound‑first prospecting (email, LinkedIn, calls, events)
Run discovery and product demos with founders, CTOs, and security leaders
Manage deals end‑to‑end through close
Build presence in the Bay Area startup community
The Sales Motion
Buyer Persona: CTO, Head of Security, Founder
Average Deal Size: $3,000–$8,000 ACV
Motion: High‑velocity, consultative
What We Expect
Month 2: 50% quota attainment, ramping independently
Month 3: Running full discovery and demos, maintaining 3–4x pipeline coverage, closing 8–10 deals per month
Month 12: 100%+ annual quota attainment, self‑sourcing the majority of pipeline
What You Bring
Proven ability to self‑source pipeline through structured outbound
Comfort selling to technical and executive buyers in B2B SaaS
Strong discovery and demo skills
CRM discipline and forecasting accuracy
Hunger to build in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment
