Job Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the Captain of Campus Police and Security, enforces state laws as well as college rules and regulations to ensure the protection, safety, and security of all individuals and property at Piedmont Technical College. Plans, implements, and coordinates a comprehensive safety training program for the college, covering traffic, fire, and job-related areas, while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Patrols and inspects county campuses daily according to schedule, unless otherwise assigned by the Captain of Campus Police.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

A high school diploma and experience performing patrol or investigative duties with a public law enforcement agency. A bachelor's degree may be substituted for the required law enforcement experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Supervisory experience and South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy certification.
