Salary: $80k–$110k base; 401(k) with 3% company matching after 1 year (US only). $40K/yr contract outside of US/Canada. Health/Dental insurance (US only).
Overview
Hi there, we are Sam and Colby! We’re primarily known for our ghost‑hunting videos on YouTube. We have an incredible fan base of immensely supportive fans, our main YT channel has over 12M subscribers and 1.7 billion views. You can check us out here: https://www.youtube.com/@samandcolby.
We are looking for an editor who can cut together YouTube videos that will be seen by millions of people. You’ll be working with our lead editor on the main channel content as well as editing content for our other channels/platforms.
This will be a full‑time position with many possibilities for growth. Not only will the content you work on be seen by millions of people, but you’ll be a valuable team member who directly contributes to the business as a whole.
What you will be doing
Assist the main Sam and Colby channel editor and frequently help with many other projects.
Cut, trim, and arrange footage; add graphics, titles, transitions, sound effects, music, etc.
Stay updated on the latest YT editing trends and techniques to increase engagement.
Add your creative flair to all videos while adhering to our style and format and constantly looking for ways to innovate and improve the content.
Work directly with Sam, Colby, and the other members of our creative team to release content that continues to grow our YouTube channel and other social media channels.
What you bring
You live in North America.
At least 2 years of experience working in Adobe Premiere.
Experience editing fast‑paced and long‑form videos.
Skilled in editing, pacing, sound design, and color.
You have a genuine passion for YouTube and the creator ecosystem.
