General Summary
The Graphic Design/Communications Coordinator is responsible for designing and developing marketing assets across print and digital platforms. You will collaborate closely with writers and multiple departments to translate messaging into engaging visual concepts while maintaining brand consistency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement digital and graphic design projects with a keen eye for quality and accuracy.
- Create marketing materials including ads, brochures, flyers, social graphics, presentations, signage, and rack cards.
- Work collaboratively with writers and internal teams to ensure messaging is effectively communicated through design.
- Maintain brand standards to ensure visual consistency across all materials.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Prepare files for print and digital distribution, ensuring correct specifications and formats.
- Support marketing campaigns, events, and initiatives with creative assets.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders while preserving design integrity.
- Capture and edit photography for use in marketing and communication materials.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices relevant to healthcare marketing.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is required.
Experience
At least two years of graphic design experience is necessary, with strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Experience in photography and video is preferred but not mandatory.
Requirements
Excellent customer service, organizational skills, and strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential. The role requires independent mobility within an office environment, good vision for screen and print reading, manual dexterity for computer use, and the ability to lift materials up to 15 pounds. Mental stamina for multitasking, problem-solving, and handling stressful situations is important. Some travel may be required.
Working Conditions
This position is based in a standard office setting but also involves collaboration throughout the healthcare facility and with community partners and vendors.
