Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Mold Maker located in the Grand Rapids Metropolitan Area. The Mold Maker will be responsible for reading blueprints, assembling and repairing molds, utilizing precision tools and machinery, conducting inspections to ensure accuracy, and collaborating with team members to meet project specifications. Qualifications
Proficiency in using machining tools, such as lathes, grinders, and manual milling machines Expertise in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics Knowledge of mold repair, assembly, and polishing processes Experience with quality assurance standards, precision measurement tools, and inspection practices Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and critical-thinking skills Ability to work collaboratively with a team and communicate effectively Experience in injection molding and tool making in the plastics industry is highly desirable High school diploma or equivalent is required, while additional technical training or certifications in machining or mold making is a plus
