Position

District Sales Manager

Location:

Houston, TX • Full-time

Your Responsibilities Establishes and maintains strong customer relationships and executes sales of Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau products.

Account Management

Achieves sales plan for Bosch, Thermador, and Gaggenau in assigned territory.

Develops and maintains relationships with all accounts.

Initiates and schedules orders with regional BSH inside sales.

Reviews and writes RAs while following regional BSH policies and procedures.

Work with other DSMs and operations to coordinate returned goods for sale in the OTC department.

Responsible for all assigned regional credits (including pricing errors, RMAs, etc.).

Assist in communicating regional Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau programs and procedures (with Director, OM, RSM and Irvine).

Maintain and develop all product displays including POP and display cleanliness.

Gather and analyze competitive regional pricing and marketing programs; coordinate needed Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau programming to achieve sales plan.

Assist in organizing regional Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau trainings and showroom activities; execute consumer demos.

Manage information flow to RSM on a daily/weekly basis.

Maintain a database of all Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau accounts (sales performance, display achievements, training schedule, etc.).

Coordinate and develop Bosch, Thermador and Gaggenau events; maintain product knowledge across brands.

Trade Focused Activities

Develop and maintain relationships with key market influencers.

Coordinate joint sales calls with dealer sales teams focusing on the trade.

Drive sales through dealers based on relationships with Designers, Architects, Builders and Remodelers.

Identify and support key kitchen studios (manage and sell to these accounts where applicable).

Sell brands to market influencers to become the specification on projects.

Focus on Single Family Home Builders both independently and with dealer partners where appropriate.

Participate in national trade-focused activities (NAHB Builder Meetings, CEU Classes).

Work with RBSM to identify project leads and prepare presentations.

Gather and analyze competitive Trade programming.

Participate in local Trade Association meetings (ASID, AIA, NKBA, NARI, NAHB).

Host trade meetings in BSH Showroom/Sales Center and dealer showrooms.

Implement market strategies to increase revenue in the builder channel with RSM and RBSM.

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree – Preferred

7-10 Years of Experience (Sales) – Required

Domestic Travel by car, airplane, boat, etc. – may include overnight and weekends

Must be able to visit assigned accounts daily in territory

Active driver's license in good standing

Strong communication & presentation skills

Time management skills

Strong influencing skills

Analytical attention to detail

Strong training skills

Sales experience in a business-to-business setting

Strong presentation skills with sales person-to-buyer experience

Minimum of 2 years negotiating experience

Proven sales track record of success

Appliance experience preferred

Candidate must live in the territory and be willing to travel

Travel Percentage – 75%

Your Pay & Benefits The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible, then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.
