Overview The Senior Tax Analyst will be responsible for preparing and reviewing federal, state and local tax returns, including work papers supporting the domestic and foreign filings, preparation and review of estimated tax payments and assisting with ASC 740 calculations.

Activities:
Primary responsibilities of the position would include:
Prepare, review and file various federal, state and local tax returns.
Prepare and review estimated tax calculations.
Participate in the tax provision process.
Assist Tax Director with ongoing and future acquisitions, both domestic and foreign.
Prepare and review various foreign forms included in the federal consolidated filings (Forms 5471, 8858, etc…). Familiarity with FATCA cross-border transactions.
Maintain current knowledge of tax laws, updates, and revisions. Ability to identify tax issues, perform research and present findings to the Tax Director.
Assist with IRS and state inquiries and audits.
Perform special projects and other related duties.
Experience and Skills
Approximately 5-6 years of tax experience; mix of “Big 4” and industry preferred.
Ability to manage his/her time effectively, meeting deadlines consistently while working on multiple tasks without sacrificing quality of work.
Capable of working as a team player. Strong work ethic a must.
Ability to exercise proper judgment with above average analytical skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Proficiency in CCH ProSystem fx Tax; CCH ProSystem fx Workpaper Manager; Thomson Reuters Checkpoint or other comparable software is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting. Masters in taxation is a plus. CPA preferred.
The estimated salary range for this position is $110,000- $130,000.
