Strawberry Industry Sales Representative (Corrugated Packaging) (Agriculture)
We are seeking a driven and knowledgeable Sales Representative to develop and grow our corrugated packaging business within the strawberry farming and distribution sector. This role is ideal for someone who understands the unique packaging demands of perishable fresh produce and can build trusted relationships with growers, packers, and distributors across major strawberry growing regions. You will serve as the primary point of contact for strawberry industry clients, offering tailored corrugated packaging solutions from field flats and clamshell trays to retail displays and cold chain optimized boxes that protect product integrity from harvest to shelf.
Responsibilities
Prospect, qualify, and close new accounts with strawberry growers, packing houses, and distributors in your territory
Manage and grow an existing portfolio of agricultural packaging clients through consultative selling and account development
Conduct on site farm and facility visits to assess packaging needs, audit current solutions, and recommend improvements
Collaborate with internal design, engineering, and production teams to develop custom corrugated solutions (field flats, berry trays, display boxes, shipper cases)
Prepare and present competitive pricing proposals, sample presentations, and ROI analyses
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and seasonal growing cycles to adjust sales strategy accordingly
Attend agricultural trade shows, grower association meetings, and industry events to build brand presence
Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales revenue targets within the assigned territory
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline, and customer interactions.
