Description RN Director of Subacute
SHIFT: Full-Time
JOB DESCRIPTION: The successful candidate will have a variety of duties, including but not limited to:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Directing, coordinating, and supervising the activities of all nursing staff engaged in a designated unit
Authority, responsibility, and accountability for the overall management of residents in a designated unit
Responsible for transmitting each unit\'s staff concerns to the appropriate department supervisor.
Maintenance of Resident Care Plans and the overall management of resident care
REQUIREMENTS:
Degree from an accredited school of nursing
Current and valid license as a Registered Nurse in the state of New York required
Must have a minimum of one year of experience in nursing service administration. Additional education or experience in rehabilitative or geriatric nursing is preferred.
Must possess knowledge of state, federal, and local long-term care regulations.
Must be flexible, punctual, professional, and reliable
Strong customer service skills and compassion
