The Activities Director will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating recreational programs and activities for our residents, focusing on their physical, emotional, and social well-being. Develop and implement a diverse range of recreational programs, including social, educational, and therapeutic activities, to promote resident engagement and satisfaction Conduct regular assessments to identify resident interests and abilities, and develop programs tailored to their needs Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing, therapy, and dietary staff, to ensure that activities are coordinated and aligned with resident care plans Recruit and manage volunteers to support activity programs Monitor and evaluate activity programs, making recommendations for improvement and modifications as needed Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, including infection control and safety protocols Requirements
Certified Activities Director or Therapeutic Recreational Therapist required with priorexperience in Activities or a related field Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of residents, staff, and volunteers Ability to create engaging and inclusive programs for seniors Familiarity with regulations and guidelines related to activities and recreational programs in a healthcare setting How to Apply
