Job Summary Under general direction, this position is responsible for leading and contributing to tactical projects that drive revenue and recruitment growth. This position is responsible for the development and management of recruitment marketing programs, implementation and results. This role will manage marketing efforts for brand position and awareness to support specific business units within J.B. Hunt. They will manage the process around lead generation, content development and content curation/creation, and recruitment collateral. This high‑impact role will work across multiple functions and interact with clients, vendors, and senior leaders.

Job Description Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in executing the company’s marketing strategy and programs (internal/external branding, lead generation, advertising/sponsorships, events, digital marketing) in order to support the company’s business objectives.

Collaborate with an array of cross‑functional team members and external vendors to increase marketing’s contribution to recruitment and hiring.

Working with the content and creative teams, lead and ensure the consistency in the messaging, branding, content, and look‑and‑feel of all internal and external communications and marketing materials—coordinating and socializing with internal hiring teams and broader organization.

Perform industry and competitive analysis to help positioning and messaging.

Assist with strategy, implementation, and optimization for winning marketing strategies to drive user growth, engagement, retention and efficiency.

Assist with full‑funnel marketing strategy which includes pitches and working with the larger marketing team on marketing communication, digital marketing, content production, social media, and offline events.

Track and report all marketing KPIs and activities, providing actionable insights for improvement and growth.

Work with respective teams to A/B test copy, creatives and strategies for these channels and arrive at winning strategies that will maximize campaign effectiveness.

Present marketing plans and results to internal leadership.

Qualifications Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED and 5 or more years of directly managing marketing programs with proven ability to deliver consistently strong measurable results OR a bachelor’s degree and 3+ years project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications

MBA or equivalent preferred but not required.

Proven track record managing marketing pipeline generation, including managing campaigns from concept to ROI analysis.

Excellent communication skills – strong written and oral communication skills.

Strong analytical skills; including experience reviewing performance results and making recommendations for future actions.

Ability to work closely with sales and business development teams towards aligned goals.

Data‑driven – comfortable with MS Excel and data analysis and able to make data‑driven decisions.

Excellent time management – able to stay calm under pressure while working quickly and delivering to tight deadlines.

Excellent communicator and people‑oriented person who enjoys teamwork and working in a collaborative environment.

Exceptional organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects, ability to meet deadlines, and strong attention to detail.

Proficient computer skills in MS Office including Word and Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience with Marketing CRM and email automation platform to nurture, track and report on lead conversions is a plus.

Proactive mentality with curiosity and desire to learn.

Must be very comfortable with continuously changing opportunities and priorities.

Creative thinker and problem solver who enjoys generating innovative ideas and devising new ways to engage audiences.

Job may require travel.

Compensation Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the company’s bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
