Job Description The Perkiomen Valley School District is seeking a motivated and dedicated Marching Band Director to lead the Perkiomen Valley High School Marching Band program. This is a co-curricular position that is available for the 2026-2027 school year.
The Marching Band Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all aspects of the marching band program, including rehearsals, performances, and competitions. The Marching Band Director works collaboratively with the high school instrumental music staff, building administrators, and parent organizations to promote a positive, inclusive, and high-quality marching band experience for students.

Terms of Employment Co-curricular stipend position in accordance with the Perkiomen Valley Education Association Agreement.
Education, Training, and Experience Bachelor's degree in the applicable field of education from an accredited college or university.
Previous experience directing or assisting with a marching band program, preferred.
Certification and/or Licensure Requirements Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in Music Education (PK-12), preferred.
Compensation The starting stipend amount will be determined as outlined in the Perkiomen Valley Education Association Agreement.
