Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to support continued growth in the North American automotive market. The role will focus on managing and developing OEM relationships, driving new program awards, and expanding the company’s presence across existing and new vehicle platforms. This position requires a commercially driven professional with strong automotive industry experience, capable of navigating complex OEM organizations and coordinating closely with engineering, manufacturing and program management teams. Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow strategic automotive OEM accounts, serving as the primary commercial contact. Identify and pursue new business opportunities and vehicle programs within existing and prospective OEM customers. Lead the RFQ process, including pricing strategy, commercial negotiations and program alignment with internal stakeholders. Develop and execute account strategies to increase market share and long-term revenue growth. Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality and program teams to ensure successful launch and delivery of customer programs. Monitor market trends, competitor activity and OEM sourcing strategies to inform commercial decisions. Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline management and reporting. Candidate Profile
Proven experience in automotive sales, key account management, or business development, ideally managing OEM relationships. Strong understanding of automotive sourcing processes, RFQs and program management cycles. Experience working with complex engineered aluminum components or manufacturing environments (e.g., castings, metal components, automotive systems). Demonstrated ability to develop long-term customer relationships and secure new business programs. Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills. Highly collaborative, with experience working across cross-functional technical teams. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
