
Account Executive - SMB

FreeWill is seeking an SMB Account Executive (Grassroots Account Executive) to drive revenue generation through strategic relationships with nonprofits and help scale our mission to provide the FreeWill platform to nonprofits to raise $1T.
Responsibilities will include:
Prospect and book new meetings with nonprofit organizations
Conduct discovery calls with new prospects
Communicate with prospects via phone, email, and teleconference
Demonstrate thought leadership and present platform solutions to advance sales
Negotiate contract terms and customer pricing during the sales process
Prepare proposals, presentations, and contracts to close deals
Develop strategic plans to drive sales within an assigned territory
Execute a sales process through discovery, solution, pricing, negotiation, and close
Participate in brainstorming, team meetings, and client meetings; assist with program development for new prospects
Collaborate with Sales Development Representatives to prospect for new business
Illustrate the value of products and services to create growth opportunities; analyze data to identify trends
Become an expert in the FreeWill platform and the nonprofit fundraising landscape
Stay current with changes and developments in the nonprofit industry
Manage complex contract negotiations and work with legal counsel as required
Meet quarterly sales objectives
Act in alignment with FreeWill’s values of focus, joy, kindness, and courage
You’re a great fit if you:
Have 2+ years of successful Account Executive experience in a startup SaaS company with multiple products
Have experience selling to nonprofits (a plus)
Are comfortable leading your own product demos
Have experience handling negotiations and contract signing
Manage your own prospecting
Can make strategic decisions and execute independently
Are able to understand data and make data-driven decisions
Are smart, tenacious, kind, and have a growth mindset
Have a proven track record of prospecting resulting in 3-5 new meetings per week, managing a $500K pipeline, and closing $100K ARR quarterly with C-Suite level buyers
Total Compensation
The base salary for this role is $80,000 with potential variable compensation of $55,000, for a total OTE of $135,000.
