Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members by following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You won’t just prepare fresh food—you’ll help a family have a great meal. What You'll Do

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources; communicate effectively with the team; and be flexible to the needs of the business.

Prepare food according to item specifications; plan future and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management; operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; and demonstrate an understanding of product and layout execution.

Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality; adapt to new tools and encourage others to use them.

Drive the performance of the area; utilize digital tools; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and provide attention to customer needs; assist customers according to company policies and procedures.

Advocate for the department and club by valuing the member’s experience in the meat area and modeling high‑quality service and products; execute basics at the highest possible level of quality; and exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work.

Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy; and apply these in executing business processes and practices.

Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners; identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information; determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; and adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Responsibilities

Ensure high‑quality products are available in the prepared foods area.

Maintain shelves clean, control temperature, verify expiration dates, and dispose of lower‑quality food products.

Prepare and serve ready‑to‑eat food.

Maintain the sales floor in accordance with company policies by properly handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages.

Maintain a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Preferred qualifications: Food Service, Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).

Must successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.

Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $17.00 to $25.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
